Savory Seasoned Pork Chops On A Bed Of Rice

My hubby is an AMAZING cook.  Sometimes, I think he's in the wrong profession.  He is the one who taught me a lot of what I now know, or I'd still be living on pasta and the occasional bland egg.  Everything he cooks, never has a recipe.  He doesn't DO recipes.  However, I've taken a bunch of pics and hopefully you will get the gist of what he made tonight!

Ingredients:

Pork chops:
10 boneless pork chops, thawed (if frozen) & trimmed
Adobo Seasoning
Cayenne Pepper
Ranch Seasoning
1packet powdered Chicken bouillon
White wine of choice

Rice:
5 cups water
1tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
3cups jasmine rice

Veggies:
2 cups frozen mixed veggies

Directions:

Sprinkle the pork chops one by one with Adobo seasoning.

Add cayenne pepper and ranch seasoning to taste.

Pour in white wine and powdered chicken bouillon and mix well.  Let sit for about 10min. In the mean time, put 5 cups of water, salt and oil (oil prevents the rice from sticking together.)  into medium saucepan on high heat.  Cover and bring to a boil.

When you see that the water on top is gone, turn to low heat and fluff with a fork.

Place a piece of plastic wrap on the pan to seal in the steam and place the cover back on.

Place a small amount of oil into a frying pan and cook, flipping every few minutes, until browned on both sides.

Remove from pan and place on dish.

Place the mixed veggies in the dripping.  Add adobo and ranch seasonings if desired. (we like them seasoned)

Cook veggies until done.

Remove rice from heat and fluff.  Place a bed of rice on the plate, and then a pork chop topped with the veggies.  Enjoy!!
